While studying for her MA in Near & Middle Eastern History at SOAS, Muzna planned to take up a teaching or academic position to advance Middle Eastern art, culture and history.
After graduating in 2003, her plans came to fruition and she is now a lecturer of Contemporary World History at Dar Al Hekma College in Jeddah.
Muzna also teaches English Language to students needing to improve their language skills. She believes that in order to hope for a brighter future, one should have pride in one’s past – and she hopes to be able to spread such values through her teaching.
She says that today she is a ‘more motivated person because of MBI’s help and recognition’. Muzna is married and has three children.
